Need your opinion for the book I am illustrating

Hi everyone. here's the question. Which of the images attached (image1.jpg or image2.jpg) illustrates the idea of the following verse better (keep in mind that I will be creating a painting from the photo)?

The Verse:
"And for all the bad things
I say and I do,
Forgive me and make me
To be more like you."

Thanks for the responses so far. I'm not trying to change anyone's vote, this feedback is really helpful. But I failed to mention that the verse is a prayer to God. Didn't know if that made a difference. Thanks again everyone.

I'd say #1. It looks more like talking to God while #2 looks more like "I had a bad day at school and don't make me go back tomorrow." Hope you post a picture of your painting when it's done!

well, number 1 kinda looks like im praying, and want u 2 know about this

I have ideas for both of the oictures the boy in number 1# looks like hes talking to god and trying to ask god to forgive him.

But the boy in number 2 # looks like he did somthing wrong and hes asking his parent to forgive him

they are both really good pictures i would go with maybe a mixture of them i dont know how you would do that but i know its possible
