Comment by Helen Groothuis on July 28, 2009 at 2:53pm: Filming for THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER began on July 27th. Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Eddie Izzard, Peter Dinklage, and Liam Neeson are all set to reprise their roles as King Caspian, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Reepicheep, Trumpkin, and Aslan with Will Poulter joining the cast as Eustace Scrubb. Michael Apted has replaced Andrew Adamson as director and 20th Century Fox has replaced Walt Disney Pictures as distributor while Walden Media is still producing the film. The new release datefor the movie is December 10, 2010.
