SALES WILL BEGIN NOW!
The Junior High Youth Group of Faith Reformed Church has chosen a
year-long service project to build a water well for a community of
500 in Africa by selling aluminum water bottles. By raising $2850,
the group will pay off the cost of buying the water bottles and
send $2000 to Africa through the AMREF organization to provide
well-building jobs, clean local water, and sanitation education to
a village in need.
Ongoing projects include local random acts of kindness and a
project to provide a needed resource to those in poverty
internationally. The group's existing service projects include
supporting a sponsored child from Lebanon through World Vision and
helping with local food drives in the Traverse City, Michigan
area.
The Senior High Youth Group of Faith Reformed Church is currently
supporting two sponsored children from Africa and they offer care
packages to college students, babysitting, and landscaping services
in their monthly service nights. They also help annually on local
food drive projects.
